HOW TO GET THERE AND WHAT TO BRING

Richard Davis' Meadow Woods Farm in Bushnell is located off US 301 between highway 48 on the north and highway 50 on the south. Go about 2 1/2 miles south of Bushnell on 301. Look for a little sign for CR 654 on the west side of 301. Turn on this road and go until you see the sign for the Davis property (it is pretty much at the end of CR 654 just before the road curves to the left). We will have CFHRC signs on 301 and at the entrance to the Davis Ranch.

Gey's Golden Oaks Ranch is on the west side of CR 455, about one mile northwest of Montverde and two miles south of Ferndale. The gate is located at Katie's Landing Road (a dirt road). We will have a sign at the entrance.

Betsy Reiney's Place in Bostwick Fl is 10 miles north of Palatka on highway 17. In
Bostwick (very small town) there is a Shell Station and a Stucky's Pawn Shop. That is Palmetto Bluff Road. Take that road east ( the only way it goes), for about 2 miles.
Betsy's place is on the left. Address is 280 Palmetto Bluff which is on the mail
box. Sign on road is Happy Tails Road. Push button at the gate. Gate will
close automatically.

WC Spurling's Early Bird Hunting Preserve: I-75 to 40 west, then turn right onto 328 until you come to N.W. 150 Ave Rd. Make a RIGHT and travel 2.2 miles to the preserve on the left.

Mr. Thornton's is located at 5047 County Rd 575, Bushnell, FL 33513-2813. I-75 to exit #314 (S.R. 48). Go West on SR 48 about 7.5 miles. Turn south (left) onto CR 575. The Woodshed Pub is on the corner. Go 2.6 miles past a ranch with a dark brown 3 rail wood fence and Mr. Thornton's is the next one on the left. There is a cattle guard at the entrance so no gate to open or close. There is a Stewardship Forest sign on the fence. He also often has flags of his favorite sports teams in season at the gate.

From I-4: take exit 118 (SR 44) east towards New Smyrna Beach 5 miles. You'll see a cell tower just past the ranch entrance. The north side has a sign that says Volusia County Gun and Hunt Club. Omega Ranch is on the south side and has a large acreage for sale sign out front.

We need some members to come early and help set up, and others to come later and help clean up. Please "throw before you go" - throw before you run your dog (if you run  multiple dogs, throw multiple times.

Bring your lunch, drinks, chair, water for the dogs, training stuff, and of course the dogs. At all locations please shut gates if you found 'em shut. See you there!
