Dear friends

The North Florida and Panhandle GSP Clubs are co-sponsoring a Dove Hunt Fund Raising Event on Saturday October 13th at Marvel Farms in High Springs, FL (just northwest of Gainesville).  The cost is $50 with lunch provided by the clubs.  There will be a maximum of 20 hunters allowed.  The event will start at 11 a.m. with lunch and soft drinks and the dove hunt will commence at 12 noon and continue until sunset.  This is private property with a lot of dove and feeding habitat.  Stations will be assigned the day of the hunt.

All the money raised will go to German Shorthaired Pointer rescue for both of the clubs.  Dog rescue is a wonderful but costly function of all sporting dog clubs.  GSP clubs have a strong rescue network over the entire southeast United States.  If you would like to see it in action visit http://www.segsprescue.org/.
